Teens Preparing to Raise their Academics to the Next Level @ the 7th Annual Back-to-School Teen Expl

FAYETTEVILLE, NC (July 20, 2017) –Back-to-School, Inc. is sponsoring the annual Back-to-School Teen Explosion Conference© on July 29, 2017 at the Cliffdale Recreation Center, 10:00am-2:00pm. The purpose of the Conference is to provide an annual end of summer event that encourages teenagers to plan for a successful school year and apply themselves at the highest level upon going back to school.
Leaving summer vacation for school can be tough for teens. Going back to school means adjusting back to academic life, meeting project deadlines, and giving up free time and sleeping in. Dr. Teresa Thompson-Pinckney, stated “We know that the journey of going back-to-school can be hard for teens as well as their parents. Adjusting from a laid-back summer attitude to an academic mindset can be best supported through community preparation. The Back-to-School Teen Explosion Conference provides an opportunity, in advance, for teens to get mentally ready for school before it starts and we seek to help ease the transition by providing interactive teen focused topics and activities to gear students up for a successful school year. The event includes school success topics, a vending expo and teen table topics. Back-to-School, Inc and its partners understands what matters to teens and we have designed a curriculum with the teen in mind.”
