The Premier End of Summer Event that Encourages Back-to-School Success for Teenagers

The purpose of the Conference is to provide an annual end of summer event that encourages teenagers to plan for a successful school year and apply themselves at the highest level upon going back to school. Premier Sponsors for the Back-to-School Teen Explosion Conference© include City of Fayetteville, Fayetteville/Cumberland Parks & Recreation, Fayetteville Observer, T. Pinckney & Associates and AmeriCorps VISTA. Jade Quality Care, Inc. is serving as the Teen Cafe' Lunch Sponsor and Steps to the Future is the "Parent Lunch-n-Learn" Sponsor. The Mind OVER Matter Youth Development Institute is the "Senior Success" Sponsor and in addition, "Making A Difference” Sponsors include Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. The Back-to-School Teen Explosion Conference© is filled with a day of excitement to include academic success sessions, health and physical fitness activities and a Career & Community Vending Expo. Middle and high school youth will learn about how to be successful in school, how to prepare for college, explore careers, and understand how to increase study habits and master test-taking skills. The Conference offers teens an authentic Back-to-School experience testing their abilities, boosting their confidence, and challenging their skills in a dynamic, hands-on, and fun atmosphere.
